Reports to - Branch Director

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for assuring the foreman and field crew have what they need when they need it. While being available for a variety of situations in a quick changing environment. It is also your responsibility to manage all aspects of the job from paperwork to requesting manpower.

Essential Functions:
  • Assure that all contract information is provided and accurate.
  • Review subcontractors and pre-planning information prior to pre-planning meeting collect all information needed.
  • Order plans as needed for foremen and as-built drawings.
  • Responsible to set up all project manuals including electronic, paper, and foreman manuals.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Agent to assure accurate ordering and deadlines.
  • Submit purchase orders and maintain log in the project manual.
  • Schedule and direct the pre-planning meeting for all projects.
  • Maintain budget and schedule while working with the general contractor as needed.
  • Schedule equipment, material, and other deliveries as needed.
  • Support Foremen and field personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the construction team by attending site meetings as needed and providing quick responses.
  • Schedule manpower keeping all spreadsheets up to date through the superintendent.
  • Assure Foremen are submitting all forms required.
  • Review project reports regularly to maintain and update budget as needed.
  • Review and approve all invoices for your project assuring all are recorded and logged.
  • Prepare and track pay request following up on past due request.
  • Prepare a punch list at the end of the project prior to final punch list.
  • Conduct all equipment start-up and training.
  • Submit and maintain all closeout documentation.
  • Schedule all warranty inspections with owners.
  • Schedule and lead a debriefing meeting with the crew.


  • Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Strong Communication and relationship building Skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Prior experience in project management or related field preferred.
